Check for RABCHS (responsiveness, air way, breathing, circulation, SCI (Spinal Cord Injury)

The victim is unresponsive
Check the Airway! Neutral nose & mouth is clear no obstruction seen.
Check the breathing! LLF (look, listen & feel)
1, 1002,1003,1004,1005
The victim is breathless give 2 initial gentle puff
1st gentle puff air bounces back, give 1 gentle puff if air still bounces back do the 5 back slaps & 5 chest compression
Obstruction is seen position head’s victim to side & using the little finger, finger blind sweep the obstruction.
Neutral, give 2 initial gentle puff 1st gentle puff air goes in, 2nd gentle puff air goes in.
Check the circulation!( Brachial artery)
1, 1002-1010
The victim has negative pulse & negative breathing.
Pls. follow up medical assistance & transfer facilities & report back to me as I do my CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) chest compression

& 5 give 2 blows

The victim is with pulse but breathless.

THE VICTIM HAS PULSE & BREATHING! The victim has recovered.
Position victim to recovery position, burping position (care for shock) if the victim is in the state of shock he/she is hypothermic so give warmth by rubbing the back.
Then position victim to a comfortable position the face still in side lying position to prevent aspiration.

D-eformity C-hief complain
O-pen injury H-istory
T-enderness E-vent prior incident
S-welling C-omparison of an injured part
K-eep monitoring vital signs
S-igns & symptoms
A-llergies
M-edical hx
P-resent medication
L-ast oral intake
E-vent prior to situation
Keep monitoring the victim until medical services arrived & transfer the victim to the nearest hospital.
